The Nigerian Music Industry is very dynamic in that one day, you have the whole country singing and grooving to your music, the next day, your new song is out and your name is trending on Twitter for disappointing them with trash music.
Many artistes have tasted the soup of stardom years past when they started out but after a while they lost followership due to their inconsistency but what if you had the chance to save one of them?
But who are they? Check them out below:-
1. Lil Kesh
Many still argue Lil Kesh‘s career would not have gone down to that extent if he had stuck close to YBNL and never left the guidance of Olamide.
But Lil Kesh changed his sound and has pretty much left the stage of relevancy.
But we all still remember the days of Efejoku, Gbese, Shoki, Is it Because I Love You, can we still trust Lil Kesh with another chance at Stardom?
2. Ice Prince
Many think if Lil Kesh’s career is still sinking, Ice Prince career is long gone and it’s due to the activities of his village people.
Many argue several processes led to Ice Prince becoming irrelevant.
But the hits Ice gave us then are still relateable hit songs. Aboki and Superstar. Will it be bad if we give Ice Prince another chance of “blowing”
3. Seyi Shay
Seyi Shay has gone down ever since we heard that collaboration that happened between her and Wizkid.
Since then, the glory of Seyi Shay’s music has been fluctuating.
While many feel she’s the third force after Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage, Niniola and Simi have moved ahead of her in the last few years and do we even like Seyi Shay‘s music to give her another chance?
4. Iyanya
The way Kukere blew up then made us think Iyanya had discovered his new found self. After spending years in obscurity since winning Project fame, we got trapped to Iyanya’s music through Your waist, Kukere and Sexy Mama.
But after a few years, Iyanya’s music went sour and he lost popularity. Though Iyanya has been trying to get back to the scene but is it possible his music career can be revived?
5. Korede Bello
Korede Bello was that innocent faced kid who was known then for plastering greatness on label collaborations Mavins released then.
From Dorobucci to Godwin, those were Korede Bello” best moments. Then he had a big bang when he sang “Godwin” but ever since that “Godwin” and “Like That” he released in 2016, he has found it hard with fame.
His debut album achieved little success and faded away in such a little time. How many tracks can we still remember off that album?
Korede Bello isn’t in the best of form right now, but should we still revive his career?
So Guys
Who Out Of These Five Sinking Artistes Career, Which One Would You Save If You Had The Chance?
